1st Draft Plans for D Block

Early plans for moving FE media into the 2nd and 3rd floors of D block. Below is the first stage 2D drawings to configure adjacencies and the basic room sizes.

The next stage was to convert to a 3D floor model. This illustrates more clearly how the space could look.

These plans will be refined later after consultation with SMT and Media staff.

The first consultation had very positive feedback. The darkroom on the second needs to be resized allowing more space to be available for the photography studio.

I also presented a new concept for a Games Development / Photography Exhibition / Installation Space.
This room would be a 360 degree circle with white walls. Six centrally mounted projectors would provide a 360 display.
