In an attempt to bring our Sony HDW 750p camcorder back into service, I'm currently install a Blackmagic thunderbolt capture device. This will connect up with our HDW2000 HDCAM VTR and an Apple iMac running FCP. Storage is taken care of by the means of a Lacie 4TB big disk which is connected in the thunderbolt chain.

Surprisingly neither the Blackmagic or the Lacie came with thunderbolt cables.

Also connected are a 27" Apple Display and a 50" Plasma, which serves as an output monitor.
